18. Victorian Boot Crazy Quilt Stocking

In December 2014, Rug Hooking Magazine published my directions and pattern for this Crazy Quilt Victorian Boot. Not actually a penny rug, it shares some of the same materials and techniques, but with more advanced embroidery stitches and lots of lace and beads, buttons and charms....

I designed it so that the maker can incorporate additional family wool scraps, and embellishment, but the kit is totally complete with EVERYTHING, even a nice piece of original antique Paisley Wool Fabric to complete the project. Complete Kit $45, 12" long. Functions as a small Christmas stocking.
